Dash Sign extension
Ready to import from your browser
Four quick steps
The extension is installed locally in Chrome and only runs when you choose to send a browser PDF to Dash Sign.
01
Save the Dash Sign ZIP file to your computer. Keep it zipped; Chrome loads the folder after you unpack it.
02
In Chrome, open chrome://extensions, or choose Extensions → Manage extensions from the browser menu.
03
Switch on Developer mode in the top-right corner of the Extensions page. This enables local unpacked installs.
04
Unzip the download, click Load unpacked, and choose the extracted Dash Sign extension folder.
05
On the Dash Sign extension card, open Details and turn on Allow access to file URLs. This lets the blue button import PDFs opened from your computer.
06
Click the Dash Sign toolbar icon whenever you want the workspace beside your browser. Dash Sign scans the active tab for accessible PDFs, validates the candidates, and lets you choose which one to import.
07
Open a PDF attachment in Gmail, wait for the preview to load, then click the Dash Sign toolbar icon. Dash Sign reads only the open PDF attachment and imports it into your signing workspace.
Need help?
The extension uses your active Dash Sign session and never publishes a document by itself.
